    Grand Bahama Island is unique due to the historic fishing villages and undiscovered ecological treasures.  It has one of the world's largest underwater cave systems, three national parks, endless beaches, emerald-green water and enchanting marine life.

    LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
    Grand Bahama Island was used as a filming location for scenes in the James Bond classic, Never Say Never Again as well as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, for which the pirate ships were constructed in Freeport.
