    Bimini

Bimini is often referred to as the gateway to The Islands of The Bahamas as it is located just 50 miles east of Miami.  It is also known as the big-game fishing capital of the world as the sea around the island is rich in big-game fish such as marlin, sailfish and record breaking tuna catches.

    THE FLAVOUR
Over the years, Ernest Hemingway, Howard Hughes, Richard Nixon and Adam Clayton Powell Jr, have all been to Bimini for fishing trips.  It was on Bimini that between the fishing and drinking, Hemingway wrote his novel, Islands in the Stream.
