Semi-Final Film Overview

Niall Barker exists in a surreal world. His office, tucked away in Camden market, is an old toilet cubicle and he spends most of his days surrounded by crates, stacking shoddy shoes and being spat on by the shoddy British weather!
While trying to sell his wares to apathetic customers, Niall keeps his sanity and avoids the drudgery by day-dreaming and chatting to his girlfriend on the telephone. He also often serenades her.
In this 'day in the life' of Niall, we observe him at work and with his thoughts and his music.
This is a warm, uplifting film about a suprising talent- a working class hero.
